Privacy policy

We value privacy. Customer contact details and other information are only used by us to contact you regarding your booking. We do not share information about our customers with third parties.

Booking

In order to confirm your booking, you will need to pay the amount of your booking within 24 hours to our bank account number, which you will receive by e-mail. If you are making a same-day booking, you will need to pay immediately before check-in time and also call in advance to make your booking for today, as this will allow us to respond more quickly to last-minute arrivals.

Cancellation/Modification

Cancellations can be made free of charge 30 days before arrival. We will then refund the amount you have paid in full. Within a shorter period, you can modify your booking and choose a new date that suits you. If the new date has a higher price, you will have to pay the difference. If the new date has a lower price, no changes will be applied. As illnesses and other things don't always come as a surprise, we're sure to find a solution to suit everyone. Our aim is always to make sure that the customer enjoys the holiday they have been waiting for!

Check in/Check out

Check-in from 15.30 and check-out until 11.30. If it is possible for us to offer earlier or later arrival/departure, we will do so.

House maintenance

The client will have a clean house and we expect the client to be a good steward of the property and keep it clean. It is good practice to put all the dishes in the dishwasher and run the machine when you leave the accommodation. In addition, any rubbish that you produce can be taken to the rubbish bin on the property. If you have broken something or if the house is dirty after your stay, we will send you information and pictures, as well as an additional invoice according to the market price of the item and the cleaning service's price list. The person making the booking is responsible for the upkeep of the house and items for the rental period of their choice.

Party

Nordicstay Noaroots holiday cottages are designed for people who enjoy nature and value privacy. Loud music and other noise is prohibited. If you have decided to book two cottages, this information still applies. Quiet background music is allowed until 22.00 (September-April), until 23.00 (May-August).

Safety

Please be careful with bonfires, candles and stoves. It is forbidden to leave candles burning unattended. Damage caused by burning/burning must be compensated by the customer. It is forbidden to make open fires outdoors in windy weather. Clients are responsible for using the stairs in the house. Swimming in the pond is allowed if there is enough water (in summer there is little water). In winter, the client may go on the pond ice at his/her own risk if the client is satisfied that the ice is thick enough. Water jumping is prohibited as the pond is shallow.

Hot tub

Do not put the barrel under the fire until it is at least three-quarters full. Water can be added from the hose on the side of the house. It is most convenient to heat up to 38 degrees. Keep the barrel lid on during heating. Also put a lid on at night. After heating, pull the cap off the bottom. If you plan to use the keg the next day/after that, you can leave the water in. In the winter when it is below freezing, we put the water in the keg ourselves and start heating to avoid freezing in the water system and the stove.

No smoking inside the houses! Fine 200€

Please indicate the exact number of people when booking. The price of accommodation depends on the number of people. No more people are allowed than stated in the booking.
